In addition to many petting animals and spacious outdoor and indoor play areas, the cooperation with their 3 to 5-star holiday apartments and cosy family rooms proves their big heart for families with many useful free services such as a changing unit, baby phone, bottle warmer, high chair and rental buggy. Leisure fun from biking to sculpting
In addition to special cycle routes for families and a 3,000 m² all-weather playground including climbing hall, the Schmallenberger Sauerland also scores points with its proximity to many attractive leisure parks, such as the western town of Fort Fun near Bestwig, the panorama park Wildpark Kirchhundem and the adventure mountain Kappe in Winterberg.
Creative kids also meet for extraordinary day workshops in the youth art school and gain first experiences as painters, handicraftsmen, sculptors or blacksmiths.
The children's holiday programme, which is very close to nature, does the rest: night walks through the bison wilderness, games and fun on horseback, bread baking, farm visits, spoon punching and climbing courses are on the programme, as well as excursions with Ranger Ralf in the tracks of wild cats, lynxes & Co.
The Schmallenberger Sauerland Card is available so
