Historical city tour Schmallenberg

The historic town center of Schmallenberg is one of the most beautiful listed buildings in NRW. After a devastating town fire in 1822, it was rebuilt strictly according to classicist rules in a very characteristic layout (ladder) that still exists today.

Get to know Schmallenberg "personalities" such as the Floigenkasper or the Breybalg and enjoy the lovingly restored, straight-lined facades of the houses.

Monument rally with Willi sleuthing

Willi Spürnase dressed up especially for this monument rally: Namely with the clothes of "Feldmesser Schmitz", who after the fire of 1822 planned the reconstruction of the city Schmallenberg with the help of a field sketch.

Together with Willi, families discover the most important places in Schmallenberg's historic town center and learn a lot about the town and its inhabitants. At the end of the rally, there is, of course, a reward for the children.

City tour through Bad Fredeburg

Start your tour at the tourist information office in the Kurhaus Bad Fredeburg and discover more than 650 years of history in this picturesque little town.

The slate still characterizes the image of today's Kneipp spa, in combination with lovingly restored half-timbered houses and pretty front gardens, many an impressive picture awaits you.
