One day in Bad Fredeburg

  • The mini-golf course in the Eslohe spa gardens invites you to play a game of golf. Discover the park itself with its great adventure playground.
  • A nice stroll through the small, fine retail shops in the centre of Eslohe is also worthwhile
  • Visit the Esselbad in Eslohe, the fun bath for the whole family. (Please note the opening hours of the outdoor and indoor swimming pool season)
  • A visit to the DampfLandLeute Museum Eslohe is worthwhile. There you will discover historical steam and power engines as well as folklore and local history

A day in county and ski jump

Experience nature

  • Let yourself be impressed by the power of nature along the Kyrill Trail in Schanze. Over a distance of about one kilometre, you will experience vividly the power with which storm Kyrill ravaged the Sauerland in January 2007 and how nature itself renews the areas.
  • Walk through the most extensive art exhibition you have ever visited. The WaldSkulpturenWeg offers impressive works of art in the middle of nature on a length of about 10 km
  • From the hiking car park Wilzenberg you can set out on a beautiful tour to the Wilzenberg tower, which offers the most beautiful views over the Schmallenberger Sauerland; length about 3 km.
  • An Eldorado for model building fans is the model railway facility on the Rothaarsteig. (Only open on Sundays)
  • Play a round of minigolf at the minigolf course in Grafschaft.
  • The playground in Grafschaft (right next to the minigolf course) invites you to romp and play

A day in Schmallenberg

Fun and action

  • Learn more about the Sauerland forests during a 3 km walk along the wood adventure trail.
  • Explore the historical town centre of Schmallenberg together with "Willi Spürnase". He accompanies the children through the booklet of the monument rally through Schmallenberg.
  • Visit the Sauerland Leisure World: Look forward to activities for young and old. JUMP Area, climbing hall with covered high ropes course, MicroBowling, VR worlds, Kinderland. Learn more here...
  • For the daring. The climbing hall Sauerland offers 40 routes on the 12 m high climbing wall or a unique indoor high ropes course.
  • Be there live when a spoon is made in the cutlery museum in Fleckenberg.
  • The wave outdoor pool in Schmallenberg is a must on hot days for all water rats and bathing enthusiasts. (Only open in the summer months)

A day in Bödefeld

There is a lot to discover in and around Bödefeld!

  • Explore the Bödefelder Hollenpfad, which is about 9 km long, with varied stations such as the Walkenmühle playground, the Schlapperrad, the barefoot and jungle path and great vantage points

  • Visit the parish church St. Cosmas and Damian in Bödefeld and learn all about the legend of the "Black Hand of Bödefeld"
